Finding a gift hamper that actually suits someone who's gluten free—especially when they might have other dietary needs too—shouldn't mean settling for something generic or apologetic. We set out to track down hampers from independent UK makers who understand what gluten free eating is really about: proper, flavourful food made with real ingredients, not compromise.
If you're shopping for someone in Guildford with coeliac disease or gluten sensitivity, or you're looking to send something across Surrey that actually travels well and arrives in good shape, these are the ones we'd choose. Each comes with enough variety that there's something to enjoy, whether your recipient goes straight for the sweet stuff or prefers something more substantial.
If someone you're sending to in Guildford loves the idea of an afternoon tea—proper china cups, tea, cakes, the whole thing—this Devon-made hamper recreates that ritual without any faffing about. Gluten free doesn't mean missing out on scones or something close to them.
This one stands out because it's built around British artisan makers who've chosen to go gluten free themselves, rather than retro-fitted ranges. You get the sense that someone who actually cares about the food has done the picking.
A ploughman's tea hamper for those who'd rather have proper cheese, bread alternatives, and pickles than anything sweet. It arrives ready to unpack and share, which is rather the point of sending someone a hamper in the first place.
Devon cream tea with range enough that there's both something indulgent and something wholesome to dip into. The combination of sweet and savoury means it suits most afternoons, and shipping to Guildford from Devon is straightforward.
Straightforward and well-thought. This is a hamper where every item earned its place, not a box stuffed for the sake of it. Good for sending to someone who appreciates simplicity and genuinely useful gluten free staples.
